Just Like Us

Podcast

“Just Like Us” is a short podcast series produced by advanced radio production students, in partnership with the Los Angeles-based Twenty-One X Foundation.

“Just Like Us” is a portrait of the often voiceless community of adults with severe physical disabilities.

This series was a project for the TVR14B Advanced Radio Production class at PCC. This assignment asked a lot of students. Students were paired up with an adult resident of Twenty-One X Foundation, an assisted living, Los Angeles based nonprofit.

This advanced project required strong interviewing skills, writing skills, sign-posting and performing skills and audio editing and production skills.

Lancer Radio Network would like to thank Valley Village for driving their community to the campus of PCC to record these interviews in Lancer Radio Studios. To find out more about Valley Village, and the care services they provide, visit https://www.valleyvillage.org/.
