It’s not often that Senior V.P. of Operations at Southern California Public Radio and PCC Instructor, Doug Johnson gets to “talk radio.” PCC Voices hosts, Beth Bloom, Clarke Crane and Philip Figueroa interview PCC media students about their hopes, dreams and concerns about their future in media. Then, they take these PCC voices to the perfect person to answer them, Doug Johnson.
Doug Johnson has worked with KPCC for over 20 years, and teaches audio production classes at PCC. In this exclusive interview with PCC Voices, Johnson recalls his education and early training in radio, and offers up valuable insights into the future of the radio industry, with tips for our media students.
PCC Voices would like to thank Doug Johnson and Southern California Public Radio for allowing them to visit their beautiful studios for the recording of this interview.
