Lancer Radio Visits John Burroughs High School

Career Technical Education or “CTE” is an important facet of higher education.  These are the practical, “hands-on” gigs that many of our students here at PCC are aiming for.  So it stands to reason that local high schools proffer up CTE Day to their students during their Junior and Seniors years of high school.

Lancer Radio was fortunate enough to participate in CTE Day this year at Burbank-based John Burroughs High School, and to pitch our remote broadcast tent, in an effort to bring live radio to these high school students.

Lancer Radio staff and faculty visited the campus this year and put up a one-hour, live broadcast with the students, staff, faculty and CTE Day participants to give our listeners a small taste of the good work our local high schools our doing to prepare their students for college and careers.
