Lancer Radio needs your support!

It takes a lot to make an amazing student resource like Lancer Radio work.  Although college funds have been provided to the station in the past, college funding is never guaranteed.  As such, we rely on the generous donations of our active listeners, supporters and alumni to help keep Lancer Radio alive and well!

Coming from immigrant parents life wasn’t always easy for Xochi Barajas, but a strong and supportive family gave Xochi all the confidence needed to excel. Growing up lessons learned from her mother shaped Xochi’s character and how she views life today. Whether its facing the difficultly of becoming a sports journalist or getting rejected by two different universities, Xochi comes back even stronger, ready to take on the world.  This documentary produced by Advanced Radio Production student, Jessie Lopez
