PASADENA — Although the Lady Lancers were able to cruise to an easy win over ECC Compton on Wednesday night, 83-29, the injury bug has struck again. This time, not only did it get sophomore Stella Ghazarian (sore ankle) again but also fellow letterman Sabrina Martinez (swollen knee). While Martinez sat out of the game – first time this season – Ghazarian reaggravated the ankle she injured prior to season on two separate plays during the second half. With a limited cast and playoffs just a few weeks away, reporter Sonali Serasinghe was able to sit down with Stella and get her thoughts about the injury and the difficulty of underestimating a team.
