TED equals technology, entertainment and design.   This nonprofit, has licensed independently-organized events all over the world, with luminaries allowed eighteen minutes to give “the talk of their lives” on new and innovative ideas.

However, PCC has never had a “TED Talks” event–until now.

Students Renee Shaw and Eric Espinosa are currently coordinating  PCC’s first-ever “TED Talks“,  themed “Expanding Horizons of Understanding”.   TEDxPCC runs from 11 am to 6 pm, Saturday, November 23rd, at Arcadia High School’s Performing Arts Center.

TEDxPCC co-organizer Renee Shaw talked with Over Coffee host Dot Cannon about the upcoming “TED Talks”, some of the scheduled speakers and her experiences coordinating this groundbreaking event.
