A Program of Pasadena City College
Support Us

On Saturday, November 23, 2013, Arcadia High School’s Performing Arts Center will be full of innovators.

People will be talking about social justice, science, and education. Presenters will have eighteen minutes or less to give “the talk of their lives” about new ideas. Those speakers will be some of the cutting-edge thinkers of our time–coming from backgrounds that include private-citizen space travel, offering new perspectives on hip-hop music and blurring the line between entertainment and education.

And all of the above will be the end result of the work of students and volunteers, as TEDxPCC, or Pasadena City College’s first-ever “TED Talks” take place!

TEDxPCC co-founders Renee Shaw and Eric Espinosa talked with “Over Coffee” host, Dot Cannon about their experiences creating this world-class event. To find out more about TEDxPCC, visit them on the web at www.tedxpcc.com or “like” them on Facebook.
